Growing in Faith

Our faith is not a blind faith, nor is it a faith that we should be ignorant of, but a faith of knowledge. The Armenian word, աստուածգիտութիւն (asdvadzkeedootyoon) translates as, "the knowledge of God" and in the Armenian Church baptismal service, after renouncing Satan, the faithful turn to the altar and say,

"We turn to the light of the knowledge of God". 

Every Christian is called to continue to learn, study and grow in knowledge, for it is through increasing our knowledge of God that we grow in our faith and become stronger in it.
